The Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon and miniMarathon presented by Walmart are Kentucky’s world-class road races. Months of training will be put to the test when runners line up at the start on Saturday, April 28, 2012. The races start simultaneously at 7:30 a.m. at Main and Floyd streets in downtown Louisville and finish at Preston and Witherspoon streets, just outside the entrance to Kroger’s Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront. The newly revamped course includes running through historic Churchill Downs and the largest Victorian neighborhood in the U.S., as well as running past Louisville Slugger Museum, Museum Row and the University of Louisville.
This is the largest day of road racing in Kentucky history – registration will be capped at 18,000 runners. Register online TODAY!
