the 2007 Derby Festival Marathon Fundraising Groups.
- Ask your fellow employees.
Your workplace is a great place to get sponsors and
many companies match gifts to double your dollars.
- Give a gift of a donation.
If you have a birthday or anniversary coming up, ask
friends and family to make a donation for that special
day in lieu of a gift.
- Host a bake sale or car wash.
Have one at your office or at a local grocery store.
- Team up with a restaurant.
Ask a local restaurant to donate a percentage of one
night's profits to a good cause.
- Collect at your gym.
Set up a display in front of your treadmill and ask
people to contribute.
- Ask local businesses to sponsor you, either
with cash or raffle items.
- Involve food!
Organize a pancake breakfast, spaghetti dinner or BBQ
block party.

Day Two
Ask three family members to each pledge $25
Day Three
Ask five friends to each contribute $10

Ask five co-workers to each contribute $10

Ask five people from a community organization you are
involved with for $10 each
Day Six
Ask your boss for a $25 matching gift from your company

Ask three neighbors to each contribute $10
